With the Nets’ season going down the toilet in a very quick hurry, Brook Lopez seems to be the only player on the squad doing anything worthwhile. So far this season, Lopez has averaged 20.5 points, six boards and two blocks per game. While Lopez is certainly not the best rebounding center in the league, he definitely possesses elite post moves that make it easy for him to score down in the post. Lopez has the potential to become one of the league’s best centers if he continues to work on his rebounding ability. Making him the primary offensive target was not what the Nets had in mind, and it does not look like it has worked much to start, but Lopez clearly has the ability to contend with the league’s top scoring centers.
