After starting the season in a suit and tie on the end of the bench, Westbrook has worked his way back to healthy and once again solidified his position as one of the best players in the league. So far this season, Westbrook has averaged 21.1 points, 6.7 assists and 5.1 rebounds per game. It was very clear how important he was to the Thunder after he went down with a knee injury during the playoffs last season. Westbrook is by far the most explosive and athletic point guard in the league and his play will lead the Thunder far into the playoffs. The question now is, can the Thunder get over the hump and reign supreme as the league’s best? Well, Westbrook will definitely help their chances as time goes on.
