Shining Bright – Is it time to start thinking about these Suns (14-9) as a legitimate playoff team? Yeah, it is. Eric Bledsoe scored 24 points with eight rebounds, eight assists and three steals with Goran Dragic adding 21 points and four steals. The Suns have now won five in a row and are only a game out of first place. Stephen Curry scored 30 with six rebounds, seven assists and three steals for the Warriors (13-12).

SACRAMENTO KINGS 106, Houston Rockets 91

So Far, So Good – The new Kings (7-15) are looking pretty good. Rudy Gay led them with 26 points and four steals, with DeMarcus Cousins adding 21 points, 10 rebounds and five assists. Isaiah Thomas scored 19 with eight assists, with Derrick Williams adding 11 off the bench. The Rockets (16-9) got 25 from James Harden, who turned his ankle but came back and will be fine.
