3. Trey Burke, Utah Jazz
Trey Burke is making it increasingly difficult to leave him out of the top two spots for the Rookie Rankings.
Since his return from injury, the Jazz look like a new team, scoring victories over the Denver Nuggets and Sacramento Kings this past week. The worst outing Burke has had since being inserted into the starting lineup came with his matchup against Damian Lillard and the Portland Trail Blazers, something most players and teams are having problems with this season.
Averaging more than12 points and five assists per game is a nice start, but if Burke can keep helping the Jazz look more like a credible NBA team, it won’t be long before he overtakes one of the next two men in the Rookie Rankings.
