A Different Class – It’s that simple. The Heat’s (17-6) big three are simply in a different class. Dwyane Wade, LeBron James and Chris Bosh combined for 71 points, 27 rebounds, 13 assists and five steals, shooting 28-for-44 from the field. The Heat shot 55.3 percent as a team. The Cavs (9-14) got 19 points and four steals from Kyrie Irving, with Dion Waiters adding 16 from the bench.
NEW YORK KNICKS 11, Atlanta Hawks 106
Marvelous Melo – Carmelo Anthony dropped 35 on the Hawks, to go along with his six rebounds and two steals. Andrea Bargnani scored 23 with six rebounds and two steals, as the Knicks (7-16) shot 50.6 percent from the field and took care of business at home. The Hawks (12-12) shot 60.6 percent from the field, but turned the ball over 27 times. Louis Williams led the team with 27 points, including 6-of-13 from the 3-point line.
