KD Takes It Personally – Kevin Durant scored 31 points with eight rebounds, five assists and four steals, with Russell Westbrook adding 19 points, eight rebounds, 12 assists and two steals for the Thunder (18-4). Kobe Bryant scored just four points on 2-for-6 shooting, but did add 13 assists for the Lakers (10-12). If Chris Kaman (nine points) outscores Bryant, it’s going to be a long rest of the year for the Lakers.
BOSTON CELTICS 90, New York Knicks 86
Sully’s Wicked Good – Jared Sullinger led the Celtics (11-14) with 19 points on a perfect 7-for-7 from the free-throw line, adding in six rebounds and three assists. After gushing about Jordan Crawford, he laid quite the egg, with just two points on 0-for-8 from the field. Oops. The Knicks (6-16) got 26 from Carmelo Anthony (9-for-24 FG) and 22 from Andrea Bargnani (9-for-22 FG) and J.R Smith took one shot in 26:17. Twilight Zone stuff there.
