23. Sacramento Kings (6-14)
Last Week: 2-2
Previous Ranking: 25
More New Faces: The Kings have pulled off the only two trades thus far this season, with Sunday’s being a blockbuster. Sacramento sent Greivis Vasquez, Patrick Patterson, John Salmons and Chuck Hayes to Toronto in exchange for Rudy Gay, Aaron Gray and Quincy Acy (perhaps the first time three guys have joined a team and the equipment folks only have to put 10 letters on the new unis). However, the new players had to wait to debut, as Vasquez hadn’t passed his physical in Toronto as of Wednesday night (feel free to insert your favorite “Greivis Vasquez is so slow…” joke here).
The Week That Was: The Kings lost to the Lakers 106-100 on Friday, won in overtime at Utah 112-102 on Saturday, beat the Mavericks 112-97 on Monday and lost to the Jazz 122-101 on Wednesday.
