Get That Junk Outta Here: SLAM Online is reporting that coach Brian Shaw has banned junk food from the Nuggets’ locker room prior to games. Shaw was wondering why Denver has gotten off to such slow starts offensively and noticed players eating pizza and nachos and wondered if the poor dietary habits of his players might be a cause. So the junk food was thrown in the trash and the Nuggets had salads and cold cuts before Monday’s game. They scored 75 points. So, coach, pass the pizza.
