Respectful Of Rivers: New Celtics coach Brad Stevens found himself an outsider this week, first with a Celtics reunion with former stars Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce in Brooklyn on Tuesday and in Doc Rivers’ return to Boston with the Clippers on Wednesday. But when Rivers was honored with a video tribute between the first and second quarters on Wednesday, Stevens stood and joined the crowd in the standing ovation.

The Week That Was: The Celtics beat the Nuggets 106-98 on Friday, won at New York 114-73 on Sunday, lost at Brooklyn 104-96 on Tuesday and lost to the Clippers 96-88 on Wednesday.

Bobcats Add Douglas-Roberts: Needing help on the wings with Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Jeff Taylor battling injuries, the Bobcats signed Chris Douglas-Roberts from the NBA Development League’s Texans Legends on Wednesday, waiving forward James Southerland. CDR has previously played for the Nets, Bucks and Mavericks and was averaging 18.7 points a game for the Legends. Does this mean we can call Douglas-Roberts a former Legend?
