Last Week: 1-2
Previous Ranking: 20
Gay Gone: New Raptors general manager Masai Ujiri undid another one of Bryan Colangelo’s moves this week, trading Rudy Gay along with Quincy Acy and Aaron Gray to the Sacramento Kings for Greivis Vasquez, Patrick Patterson, John Salmons and Chuck Hayes. That should free up the offense a bit more for DeMar DeRozan and perhaps translate into more touches for Jonas Valanciunas, although the Kyle Lowry-Vasquez time share system at point guard could annoy the prickly Lowry somewhat.
The Week That Was: The Raptors lost at Phoenix 106-97 on Friday, beat the Lakers in Los Angeles 106-94 on Sunday and lost to the Spurs 116-103 on Tuesday.
