I wonder what Elton Brand’s knees look like in a MRI. Different story for a different day, I guess. For today, Brand wins our Goose Egg award, for playing 14:41 without scoring. He added three steals and two blocks, though.

Clean and Sober Award (most minutes without taking a shot)

As a rookie, you can either play carefully for fear of being pulled or over aggressive because you know the hook is coming quickly. Peyton Siva went with the former, as he played 7:01 without attempting a single shot. He assisted on two buckets, so that counts for something.

Iron Man Award (most minutes played)

You can have too much O.J. and you can have too much Mayo, but can you have too much O.J. Mayo? Actually, yeah I think you can. With that said, he is our Iron Man of the night, playing 44:11 in a nice road win over the Bulls. He scored seven points and went 2-for-12, so…yeah.
