PREDICTION

So, again we’re about a quarter of the way through this season and the Blazers sit at an unexpected 18-4. They are tied for the most road wins on the season (nine) with the Indiana Pacers and don’t look to be slowing down anytime soon. Having said that, I can tell you that I do not expect the Blazers to finish this season with holding that coveted No. 1 spot out West. There are so many tough teams and it’s a long season — I do however think they will be top four and have home court advantage in the first round of the playoffs; which is HUGE for them.

There are 27 games remaining until the All-Star break in February. After taking a detailed look at their upcoming schedule I have come up with a prediction for their record over that span, and combining it with their record so far, a complete pre All-Star break record.

This may seem optimistic but given the matchups and home/road schedule I have the Blazers going 19-8 over their next 27 games. This would put the Blazers at 37-12 at the All-Star break.

No one thought the Blazers would start 18-4 this season and now with everyone McCollum hopefully returning soon to help bolster the bench, the wins should keep on comin’.
