New York Knicks 113, BROOKLYN NETS 83

The Least Ugly Wins – Make no mistake about the score — neither team is very good. The Knicks shot the lights out, hitting 57.1 percent from the field and 59.3 percent from the 3-point line. Carmelo Anthony scored 19 with 10 rebounds and six assists, with Andrea Bargnani (16 points, three blocks) getting into it with Kevin Garnett. For the Nets, Brook Lopez scored 24 with nine rebounds and that’s the extent of their good happenings.

Los Angeles Clippers 101, MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES 81

A Runaway – The Clippers turned up the heat at halftime, outscoring the Grizzlies by 22 in the second half. Chris Paul scored 15 with eight assists and two steals, with Jamal Crawford and Darren Collison adding 15 each from the bench. The Grizzlies got 17 points from Kosta Koufos and 12 with 12 rebounds from Zach Randolph.
