Mr. Drummond – Three consecutive games with 18+ rebounds is impressive. Andre Drummond scored 24 points with 19 rebounds, two steals and three blocks to team with Greg Monroe and his 18 points and 17 rebounds to manhandle the Bucks. Ersan Ilyasova scored 22 points off the bench, but they shot just 39.6 percent and watched the Pistons shoot 42 free throws.

Dirk and Monta All Day – Dirk Nowitzki scored 21 points with seven rebounds, two steals and four blocks, including two late free throws to ice the game. Monta Ellis added 14 points, six rebounds, 10 assists and three steals to bring the Mavs to 12-8. The Pelicans got a great look late by Eric Gordon (15 points), but couldn’t get it to drop. Al-Farouq Aminu scored 16 with 21 rebounds and three steals in the loss.
