Once they traded Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett in the offseason, everyone expected the Celtics to embrace the tank and call this season a wash. However, Brad Stevens, who left Butler University for Boston, has done a magnificent job in maximizing the talent on this current Celtics’ roster.

The Celtics had their way with the Cavs this game, shooting 50 percent from the field as team. Jeff Green was on his worst behavior, scoring a game-high 31 points. Jordan Crawford, meanwhile, eked out a triple-double with 11 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists.

Waiters once again led the Cavs in scoring with 21 points, but it came on a less efficient 7-for-18 from the field. As a whole, the shooting struggles continued for the Cavs going 32-for-86 from the field as team for 37.2 percent.
