Saturday November 30 vs. Brooklyn Nets

This game against the Nets at home felt like an easy win when with the way the Nets have been playing, however, with Marc Gasol already out and Zach Randolph out with the toe injury, it made the win look less likely. Yet, the Nets were without Paul Pierce and Deron Williams, therefore, both teams were missing major pieces. Then like so many other Grizzlies games the first quarter started off slow the team was not able to recover. One positive note is that Quincy Pondexter scored 22 points off the bench, by hitting three 3-pointers, by far his best game of the year after not playing the last two games due to coach’s decision. Even with the Randolph being out, it still felt like a game the Grizzlies should have been able to pull out, again if the Grizzlies hope to play in the postseason these game are must.
