West is Best – The Blazers’ win over the Pacers brought even more credibility to the now 15-3 juggernaut from the Northwest. Damian Lillard scored 26 points, with LaMarcus Aldridge leading the team with 28 points and 10 rebounds. The Pacers got 43 points and three steals from Paul George on 30 (!) shots. He made 7-of-15 from the 3-point line. Roy Hibbert added 16 points and 14 rebounds.
SAN ANTONIO SPURS 102, Atlanta Hawks 100
Duncan’s Still Got It – Tim Duncan’s jumper lifted the Spurs to victory to finish off another vintage performance from the Wake Forest product. Duncan scored 23 points with 21 rebounds and two blocks, with the Spurs shooting 53.8 percent as a team. The Hawks got 19 points and seven assists from Jeff Teague to lead all five starters in double-digits.
