Loving Lopez – Brook Lopez was sorely missed in the middle for the Nets. He scored 20 points with nine rebounds, leading the Nets to a win at the Grindhouse. Joe Johnson poured in 26 with five rebounds and six assists and Andray Blatche scored 21 with eight rebounds off the bench. No Andrei Kirilenko or Paul Pierce in this one. The Grizzlies got 22 from Quincy Pondexter off the bench, with Mike Conley adding 16 and 10 assists. Kosta Koufos with 10 points, 11 rebounds, two steals and three blocks to continue his run.

MILWAUKEE BUCKS 92, Boston Celtics 85

Just Be Better Than Opponent – The Bucks aren’t world beaters by any means, but on this night, they were better than the Celtics. Brandon Knight scored 20 with nine rebounds and eight assists, John Henson scored 13 with 13 rebounds and three blocks and O.J. Mayo led the team with 22 points. The Celtics got 21 and 14 rebounds from Jared Sullinger, but shot just 21.1 percent from three as a team.
