No Jumper, No Cry – Yes, it’s a bad Bob Marley reference. The Lakers made 14-of-31 from the 3-point line to overcome being outscored in the paint 76-28. Wesley Johnson led with 27 points (6-for-7 3PT) and Shawne Williams rose from the dead to score 20 (6-for-11 3PT). The Pistons got eight points, 19 rebounds, eight assists, five steals and two blocks from Josh Smith (0-for-4 FT).

HOUSTON ROCKETS 114, Brooklyn Nets 95

From Downtown…Bang – The Rockets did their thing, hitting 19-of-32 3-point attempts in a total rout of the Nets. Chandler Parsons was a perfect 6-for-6, Francisco Garcia was 5-for-7 and Aaron Brooks went 3-for-5. Dwight Howard even shot well, going 2-for-2 from the FT line. The Nets were are horrible, getting just 23 points from the starters. Mirza Teletovic scored 18 points with 13 rebounds off the bench.
