LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS 93, New York Knicks 80

Where’s Bledsoe – When Chris Paul needed a rest last season, the Clippers had a stud backup. Paul hurt his hamstring, but Bledsoe is long gone. Darren Collison filled in nicely, but the Clips will be praying hard tonight for Paul’s healthy return. Blake Griffin scored 15 with 13 rebounds and J.J. Redick scored 15 in just 23:30. The Knicks got 27 points and nine rebounds from Carmelo Anthony and 20 points, 10 rebounds and four blocks from Andrea Bargnani.

PHOENIX SUNS 120, Portland Trail Blazers 106

Great Matchup – If it weren’t for a missed tip-in, the Suns would be 3-0 against the Blazers this season. Some teams just matchup well and that’s the case here. Goran Dragic did it all, scoring 31 points with five rebounds and 10 assists. Channing Frye added 25 and nine rebounds and the Morris twins added a combined 34 points. The Blazers actually led this game by double-digits early, but couldn’t withstand the Suns push. LaMarcus Aldridge scored 24 in the loss.
