facebooktwitterreddit

Only two games on the NBA schedule for Thursday night but boy were they worth it. Welcome to the Daily NBA Fix for Friday, November 15th. If you can take a few minutes away from your Playstation 4, come take a look at what happened last night in the association.

Thursday’s Results (home team in CAPS)

Houston Rockets 109, NEW YORK KNICKS 106

Hard(en) To Stop – James Harden led the Rockets to a tough road win with 36 points and nine rebounds, going 16-for-18 at the free-throw line. Dwight Howard was getting outplayed badly by Andrea Bargnani (!!) in the first half, but ended with seven points, 15 rebounds and four blocks. Carmelo Anthony scored 45 points with 10 rebounds and four assists and narrowly missed making the game-tying three, because he shot it just after he was fouled.

GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS 116, Oklahoma City Thunder 115

Gettin’ Iggy With It – Andre Iguodala hit the game winner at the buzzer after Russell Westbrook hit a 3-pointer that looked like it would end the game. Iguodala finished with just 14 points, but his nine assists and clutch shot at the buzzer made him the hero. The Warriors shot 14-for-23 from the 3-point line, including 4-for-8 from Stephen Curry and 6-for-9 from Klay Thompson. The Thunder got 31 points, nine rebounds, five assists and three steals from Westbrook, but in the end in was a loss.
