Key Stat: 25, the Bobcats forced 25 turnovers

Zeller Watch: 7 points, 9 rebounds in 26 minutes

Recap: The Bobcats were without star free agents signing Al Jefferson. Bismack Biyombo pulled in another great rebounding night, grabbing 11 rebounds in 28 minutes of play. Ball movement was an issue, as Charlotte only had 16 assists on their 30 field goals.

Thursday, Oct. 17Charlotte Bobcats 110, Philadelphia 76ers 84

MVP:  Ben Gordon– 22 points, 4 for 4 from three

LVP: Anthony Tolliver- 2 points in 15 minutes, 1 for 6 shooting

Key Stat: 36- the number of free throw attempts the Bobcats had.

Zeller Watch: 10 points, 5 rebounds in 14 minutes.

Recap: Ben Gordon finally got things going. The sharp shooter was 7 of 9 from the field, including 4 of 4 from downtown. You could easily see the positive effect Gordon has on the team when he’s playing well. The Bobcats set preseason highs in field goal percentage, points, and assists. Kemba Walker had another good game, dishing out 5 assists with no turnovers. This was the best preseason game for the Bobcats to date.

LVP: Kemba Walker- 5 for 15 shooting, 4 assists, 5 turnovers

Key Stat: 0- the number of three pointers the Bobcats made

Zeller Watch: 14 points, 10 rebounds in 27 minutes off the bench

Recap: Rookie of the year candidate Cody Zeller had his best preseason game to date. The former Indiana Hoosier posted a double double in 27 minutes. The most impressive thing? He had zero turnovers. The Bobcats rested Al Jefferson for the 3rd straight game and gave veteran two guard Ben Gordon a rest.
