Welcome to HoopsHabit.com’s NBA Playoffs Live Blog of Game 3 of the Boston Celtics and the New York Knicks.

After back-to-back wins for the New York Knicks in Madison Square Garden, the series switches to an emotionally-charged TD Garden for Game 3 of the first-round matchup between the New York Knicks and the Boston Celtics.

It is the first home game for the Celtics since the Boston Marathon bombings a few weeks ago. Expect a brilliant atmosphere and a terrific game to boot.

The Boston Celtics have had troubles scoring all season, and especially so in the last two games. The C’s have been leading both playoff games at half time, only to cool off when the game gets into the fourth quarter. Carmelo Anthony has been the cold-blooded shooter we expected him to be — he has hit 34 and 36 respectively in the two games.

Key to the game: Jeff Green

Green will need to remain aggressive and his willingness to attack the basket will open up the game for the Celtics. Look for him to score around 20-25 points if Boston are to pick up the victory here.
