Season Outlook:
While the most appropriate words for this outlook would be “not good”, at least it won’t be as bad as last year. The Bobcats did get more talented than they were last year but that’s like saying “I broke my leg, but at least I have another one”.
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist is the kind of player they need to clone about seven times on this team. He is extremely energetic and tough and will compete regardless of the score or their record. Hopefully, his work ethic spreads throughout the team.
The acquisitions of Ramon Sessions and Ben Gordon provide some stability at guard and a couple of veterans that new coach Mike Dunlap can trust.
Best-Case Scenario:
The team works hard from start to finish and wins 30 games. They’re not making the playoffs with this roster but a big jump in wins and a confidence boost would go a long way.
