LeBron James is the best basketball player in the world. He’s been proving it for years but it wasn’t until his remarkable performance in the NBA Finals that most people jumped on the bandwagon.
If you’re still holding out, I hope you get a chance to see his game for the USA team against Australia today in the 2012 Olympic Games. The Americans won the game by a score of 119-86 that didn’t accurately illustrate how close the game was through three quarters.
The Australians battled behind Patrick Mills and his 26 points but ultimately the US team was too much and Kobe Bryant caught fire in the fourth to cement the game.
James added to his legacy by putting up a triple-double with 11 points, 14 rebounds and 12 assists. He showed today that he can affect the game in many different ways and doesn’t need to take 20 shots to have a large impact on the game.
He put on his facilitator costume today and in addition to his 12 assists, he turned the ball over ZERO times. James is in such a zone right now that there is no player alive in any basketball league that can do what he can.
