Ray Allen Agrees To Sign With Miami Heat

Ray Allen has made his decision and will become a member of the Miami Heat. He brings another dimension to the Heat offense that they were lacking at times last year. Although Mike Miller and Shane Battier did their part on the perimeter, Allen is on a whole other level.

Allen is not only good from three-point range but he’s legendary. His sweet stroke is imitated over and over on the playgrounds around the world yet he’s the only one who makes it look and work as well as it does.

With the Heat’s ability to penetrate, Allen should get a lot of open looks, especially in the corners. With the defense having to respect his shot, they aren’t going to be able to sag as much, which will open things up for LeBron James and Dwyane Wade.

Nothing’s ever a sure thing in the NBA but the world champions just got a lot better. The rest of the league is now on notice.
