The Detroit Pistons have the 15th pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, and they’ll be looking to nail it with one of the players on this list.

The Detroit Pistons have the 15th pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, and they’ll be looking to build on the season they just wrapped up.

Blake Griffin had his best season as a pro that resulted in his being named to the Third Team All-NBA. Reggie Jackson was able to remain healthy all year to enjoy a few solid moments, and the team was finally able to make it back to the playoffs after enduring a three-year drought.

With limited cap space, the major way to add an impact player this offseason will be through the draft, and there are some solid contributors that will be available in the middle of the first round.

The key for the Pistons will be to figure out which of the young guys they currently have are long-term pieces, and identify the spots where they need to make an upgrade. Griffin is locked in, and Andre Drummond is as well for at least one more year. Everyone else is a question mark.

Detroit needs to maximize Griffin with shooting and defenders around him to make use of his passing while hiding his defensive limitations. That’s the type of player that we’ll be targeting today. If Detroit ends ups with one of these guys at No. 15, then it will be a great pick no matter which one it ends up being.
