The Washington Wizards are sending Otto Porter Jr. to the Chicago Bulls for Bobby Portis, Jabari Parker and a second round pick. Here are NBA Trade Grades for both sides.

As a Wednesday full of moves wore on the day before the 2019 NBA Trade Deadline, the Washington Wizards decided to shift their previous “off limits” stance on Otto Porter Jr.

As first reported by The Athletic‘s Shams Charania, the Wizards have agreed to send Porter to the Chicago Bulls in the wake of this week’s brutal injury news for John Wall. In return, Washington will take on Jabari Parker and Bobby Portis.

According to ESPN‘s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Wizards will also receive a 2023 second round draft pick in the exchange.

For Chicago, this move is about bolstering the young core at a position of need. For the Wizards, it’s about accepting reality and finally deciding to pull the trigger on the full-scale rebuild this franchise needs.

The question is, how did each side fare in the exchange? Did the Bulls make a smart move taking on Porter’s bloated contract? Did the Wizards get enough for a two-way player of Porter’s standing?

In order to sort it all out, here are the latest NBA Trade Grades.
