The San Antonio Spurs have agreed to send Kawhi Leonard to the Toronto Raptors in a package revolving around DeMar DeRozan. Here are NBA Trade Grades for both sides.

After months of speculation, anxiety and reports all over the map, the Kawhi Leonard drama is finally over for the San Antonio Spurs.

As reported by ESPN‘s Adrian Wojnarowski and Chris Haynes Wednesday morning, the Spurs have agreed to send their disgruntled superstar to the Toronto Raptors, along with Danny Green. In return, they will receive DeMar DeRozan, Jakob Poeltl and a protected 2019 first round pick.

Per Woj, the pick will be protected 1-20 before conveying as two second round picks.

Rarely do NBA blockbuster deals involving a top-five player (when healthy) occur, and it’s even rarer when they include two superstars in the same exchange. The question is, how did the Spurs do after being held hostage to Leonard’s public desire to play in Los Angeles? And how did the Raptors fare with the knowledge that Kawhi only has one year left on his deal?

To sort it all out, here are NBA Trade Grades for both sides.
