Reggie Bullock had a great season for the Detroit Pistons. His best season went to waste with a struggling team around him, but he showed a bright future.

Detroit Pistons shooting guard Reggie Bullock was finally given extended playing time this season, and he definitely took advantage. He more than doubled his previous career high in scoring, going from 4.5 points per game to 11.3 per game. He had a shooting line of .489/.445/.796, with nearly all three of those being career highs. His 44.5 percent from 3 led the team by nearly 10 percent. He more than earned his keep at only $2.5 million for the year.

Heading into the 2018-19 season, it will be exciting to see if he builds on this success. Dwane Casey will most likely keep him as the starter, barring unforeseen changes. A lineup of him, Luke Kennard, Blake Griffin, Andre Drummond and Reggie Jackson would be very good offensively. Bullock’s shooting was a welcome surprise after being an average shooter throughout his career to this point. If he’s able to replicate a year like this, he could make himself some money.

The Pistons underwhelmed in 2017-18, but Bullock was one to outperform his expectations. Dwane Casey has the ability to make this team better than it is currently. He had one of the best benches in the NBA last season, while also taking the team to the number one spot in the East. Bullock isn’t going to be an All-Star next season, but he does have the ability to be one of the top players on the team next season.

Without further ado, let’s continue our player grades series by diving into what Bullock did well this past season.
