If these bold predictions come true during the 2018 NBA Draft, the Los Angeles Lakers could vault themselves to the top of the Western Conference standings in one offseason.

Even before the offseason began, the Los Angeles Lakers were on a path back to relevance. However, with the 2018 NBA Draft and free agency still on the docket, we could have a very different opinion of the franchise’s future in about a month.

The fun starts during the draft, which is set to take place on June 21. Although they only own the No. 25 and No. 47 picks, the Lakers have a knack for turning non-lottery picks into quality talent. Well enough about me and my fortunetelling skills (or lack thereof). I think it’s time we took a look at these brazen takes.
