The 2016-17 NBA season has reached the quarter mark, give or take a few games. Here is a look at the teams that are not living up to preseason expectations.
Before the 2016-17 NBA season tipped off, there were a bevy of predictions being offered as to how each team would finish in their respective conferences.
As a surprise to exactly no one, the defending champion Cleveland Cavaliers (17-5) and the new-look Golden State Warriors (21-4) appear to be on a collision course for a third consecutive NBA Finals appearance, as each team currently holds the top spot in their conference, and barring any significant injuries, it is difficult to see that changing as the season progresses.
Other ball clubs such as the Toronto Raptors and the San Antonio Spurs are quickly proving that they will be right in the thick of the playoff hunt as well.
On the other side of the equation, though, there are a number of teams that have not found their groove with a little more than a quarter of the season already completed.
