1. New York Knicks
With the Knicks focusing on grabbing guards Derrick Rose and Courtney Lee, they didn’t really get a scoring big in the offseason.

Yes, they signed
Joakim Noahto a four-year deal but he doesn’t really offer a lot of offensive upside. His jump shot is hideous and he is more focused on the defensive end of the court. Also,
Kristaps Porzingisdoesn’t really have a solid backup that can come off the bench and score.
Okafor would add another scoring presence to the Knicks and a good one in the post. Porzingis is more of an outside shooter so, in terms of “traditional” scoring big men, the Knicks don’t really have much.
Current backups Kyle O’Quinn and Lou Amundson don’t really offer much offensive upside and are nowhere the player that Okafor is. Although he won’t start, Okafor would be the leader off the bench for the Knicks.
He would be a good addition to a New York team that is looking to make the playoffs this year.
But who would the Knicks give up? Would they be willing to part with a wing like Courtney Lee, a guy they just signed this offseason? Okafor is a good offensive player and he will get a lot in return.

The 76ers probably need a really good wing and Lee would offer great scoring at the guard spot.
