The Los Angeles Clippers were so close this season. Unfortunately due to the loss of Chris Paul and Blake Griffin in the first round of the playoffs, we will never know how far they would have gotten. Here are five roster moves they need to make.

The Los Angeles Clippers had a really good 2015-16 season. They finished in fourth in the Western Conference and were in contention for third until the final week. They had their trials through the year, losing Blake Griffin for an extended period.

All credit to the Clippers organization; they actually performed really well without their dominant power forward.

Where they were found lacking was in the first round of the playoffs against the Portland Trail Blazers when Chris Paul, one of the greatest point guards of this generation, broke his hand and the Clippers lost in six. Griffin also left the series early with a recurrence of his strained quad.

Given the contract situation of Paul, Griffin and J.J. Redick, many think that this is the last chance for the Clippers to win a championship with their current roster.

They are good enough, that is for sure.

Blake Griffin, when he plays a full season, is one of the most dominant power forwards in the game, Chris Paul is one of the top point guards of his generation, if not the best, and DeAndre Jordan is a rebounding machine, finishing second in rebounding last season.

Being so close to the salary cap already this year, here are five roster moves they need to make.
