The New Orleans Pelicans had a terrible start to the season as they were hit by injuries. With the season effectively over, Anthony Davis finally succumbed to injury and missed the last part of the season. Here are 5 roster moves they need to make.
The 2014-15 season was a good one for the New Orleans Pelicans. They grabbed the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference thanks to holding the head-to-head tiebreaker over the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Coming into this season, there were huge expectations. Anthony Davis was in the conversation for MVP. Then injuries ruined their 2015-16 season. Quincy Pondexter did not play a game, Jrue Holiday missed 17 games, Davis missed 21 and Ryan Anderson missed 16, just to name a few.
As a result of their poor season New Orleans have managed to get the sixth pick in this year’sNBA draft, which is cold comfort for the season they just had.
New Orleans is desperate for a a second star to play alongside Davis and hopefully they can use this pick to achieve this.

Hopefully Davis can come back from the knee and shoulder injuries that led New Orleans to shut his season down and lead them back into the playoffs next season.
