With a 96-88 Game 7 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder Monday night, the Golden State Warriors won the 2016 Western Conference Finals and advanced to their second straight NBA Finals.

Behind 36 points, eight assists and five rebounds from Stephen Curry, 21 points and six three-pointers from Klay Thompson and a well-rounded effort from the rest of the supporting cast, the Dubs became just the 10th team in NBA history to overcome a 3-1 playoff deficit to win the series.

Despite a resilient effort from an excellent Thunder team, including 27 points on 10-of-19 shooting from Kevin Durant, the Warriors overcame a double-digit first half deficit and rallied with a huge third quarter, outscoring OKC 29-12 in the turning point of the game.

From there, another late-game Curry barrage was enough to hold off the Thunder’s last-ditch efforts to do the unthinkable.

Heading into a Finals rematch with the Cleveland Cavaliers, here’s a look at the five main takeaways from Game 7 and the best series of the 2016 NBA Playoffs so far.
