There are few events more unpredictable or influential than the NBA Draft Lottery. Nothing is guaranteed at an event that’s as polarizing as it is rewarding for teams in need of a change of fortune.

With the lottery behind us and the draft order officially set, it’s time to take a deep look at the 2016 NBA Draft.

The 76ers were the big winners of the 2016 NBA Draft Lottery, as they took home the rights to the No. 1 overall selection. Following Philadelphia in the Top 5 are the Los Angeles Lakers, Boston Celtics, Phoenix Suns, and Minnesota Timberwolves.

The question is, what does all of this mean?

For some teams, the opportunity now exists to make a run at prospects who’d previously been out of their reach. For others, it’s a chance to solidify their future with multiple first-round selections.

With the draft order officially locked, this 2016 NBA Mock Draft will look at how the lottery has reshaped the annual selection process.
