With the first week of the 2016 NBA Playoffs in the books, it’s time to take a look at each team’s postseason MVP thus far.

We did it everyone. After one of the most brutal opening playoff rounds in NBA history, we can officially say we made it through the first week of the 2016 NBA Playoffs.

For the most part, every first round series has been thoroughly predictable, with a few key injuries expediting what most have assumed to be the inevitable outcome. But as the last two days have proven, there are still a few underdogs who will be defiant until the clock strikes midnight on their playoff dreams.

That being said, with two or three playoff games under every team’s belt, we’re already getting a clear picture about which players are the most important to their respective teams in the opening round. The question is, what have they shown us through the first hectic week of playoff action?

Here’s a look at the MVP for each playoff team through the first week of the postseason, along with the integral role they’ll play in helping decide each series.
