The NBA revolves around its superstars, but what about the players who force fans to tune in because of what they bring to the game? Check out 5 of the most exciting non-superstars (not yet at least) players in the NBA right now.

When evaluating why people watch the certain professionals sports events on a regular basis, much of it is because they are passionate about the sport and can be put in awe from the amazing athletes that give it their all on a nightly basis.

The same applies to the NBA, but similar to the NFL and MLB, the sport is driven by the superstars that rule the league. Sure, you have your local, loyal fans that have grown up in a particular city and have formed a genuine love for a team that will never change.

But on the other hand, you have fans that don’t necessarily hold an attachment to a team, but follows specific superstars (i.e., LeBron James).

Obviously, every player isn’t a superstar. A superstar separates themselves from the typical player with skill set, work ethic, and overall production. That doesn’t mean that the remaining players don’t have the ability to entertain the fans the same way a superstar does.

In some cases, the role players that you watch night in and night out have the skill to do a lot more things on the court/field, but have to play into the specific role they were assigned in order for their respective team to reach an ultimate goal.

The NBA has arguably the best athletes in the world. The versatility it takes to play basketball requires athleticism, tremendous hand-eye coordination and being at tip-top shape in terms of conditioning.
