The 2015-16 NBA regular season is nearing its conclusion. Thus, the postseason picture is becoming clearer at the top of the standings, and the teams that have struggled to fight their way through the grueling schedule are making their final push at the bottom.

In both instances, the league’s elite players are defining the legitimacy of their respective teams’ postseason aspirations.

For some, the opportunity has presented itself to make a closing argument for their deservedness of an All-NBA selection. For others, their place is safe on said teams, but they need to gain the final bit of momentum before pursuing a championship ring.
