With consecutive wins in their last two outings, the Chicago Bulls improved to 32-30, but there are more questions than answers in regards to whether or not they will make the playoffs.

The Chicago Bulls ended their four-game skid with a wire-to-wire 108-100 victory over the Houston Rockets on March 5 and followed it up with a 100-90 win over the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday night. While both the Rockets and the Bucks have not lived up to their expectations, the wins over these teams were important for several reasons.

First of all, the Bulls had dropped 14 of their previous 20 contests. Secondly, although Jimmy Butler sat out the game against the Bucks (more on that later), the team is as close to being “fully” healthy as they have been all season.

Furthermore, with the pair of victories, the Bulls moved ahead of the Detroit Pistons for the eighth spot in the conference playoff race. While the wins were much needed with their season spiraling out of the control over the past month, Bulls fans should not get excited just yet.

You see, for every impressive win the Bulls have had, they have also had their fair share of inexplicable losses. And while Taj Gibson is confident about the team’s chances of making it to the postseason, the Bulls still have lingering questions that need to be addressed as they begin their push towards the playoffs.
