Friday’s NBA slate features 16 teams, but some of the league’s best teams are left off of the DraftKings pool. The two top teams play in the Eastern Conference, but none of the Western Conference’s top three teams play.

Some of the popular DraftKings plays not being available will make for a slightly more difficult pickings. All eight games feature intra-conference battles, so there is good data to go off of from previous meetings among teams this season.

The Washington Wizards (26-30) take on the lowly Philadelphia 76ers (8-49). The game features Friday’s highest over/under at 214 points, according to ESPN.com. The Wizards are favored by eight points and point guard John Wall is projected as the third-highest scoring player on DraftKings, according to Swish Analytics.

The top two teams in the Eastern Conference square off when the Cleveland Cavaliers (41-15) travel north to take on the Toronto Raptors (38-18). The over/under for this game is set at 207 points. Cleveland is favored by one point in what should be a close game. LeBron James is projected as the fourth highest scoring player.

The Los Angeles Clippers (37-20) are in an intra-division battle with the Sacramento Kings (24-32). There isn’t a spread or over/under according to ESPN, but the Kings and Clippers are both in the top 10 in offense. The two teams are combining to score 211.9 points per game this season. DeMarcus Cousins is projected as the highest-scoring player on DraftKings.

Let’s get to the top picks for Friday night.
