For those who have complained that NBA All-Star Weekend is a waste of time, 2016 NBA All-Star Saturday served as a not so subtle reminder that those people couldn’t be more wrong.

The Taco Bells Skills Challenge came down to the wire to get the evening started off on a terrific note. The Foot Locker Three-Point Shootout featured the Splash Brothers and a stunningly good 19-year-old rookie just happy to be there squaring off in the final round. And the Slam Dunk Contest may have been the best Slam Dunk Contest in NBA history.

The 2016 NBA All-Star Game has a lot to live up to after such an event-filled Saturday, but suffice it to say that those who tuned in on Valentine’s Eve were rewarded with a show that didn’t let up until the events were finally over.

From Klay Thompson’s hot shooting to the bigs holding their own in the Skills Challenge to Zach LaVine and Aaron Gordon’s epic showdown in the Dunk Contest, here’s a look at all the results and highlights from All-Star Saturday.
