Dirk Nowitzki is the best player to ever play for the Dallas Mavericks and a few of his teammates have made his career even more exciting.

Ever since Dirk Nowitzki came into the league, he has been loved by Dallas Mavericks fans. Whether it was the development of his patented one-legged fadeaway or his incredible shooting as a seven-footer, Nowitzki has changed the game for power forwards and big men alike.

As we all know, games aren’t won by one single player. It takes a team effort to get the job done. Nowitzki has been fortunate enough to play with some real team players that loved the two-man game and had passing skills that few others possessed.

Arguably the most important part of Nowitzki’s game has been his work in the post. Some of the great guards and reliable players that he has played with specialized at creating space and helping him get that one-on-one matchup that he controls.

It was obvious that he was great at making players better and it’s a testament to his career knowing that he has only played with one other true superstar. A few like Vince Carter and Amar’e Stoudemire played alongside him, but it was well after their respective primes.

Some of Nowitzki’s best sidekicks have already retired, some are still playing with him and some have moved on to different teams. Though Dirk has played with a lot of players, there are a few that stand out from the rest.
