1. Jeremy Lin

Jeremy Lin gets extra points for variety, since we’ve seen him don not one, but TWO unforgettable hairstyles this season. And that’s without even including the bowl cut he was rocking during the preseason!

Jeremy Lin has become a global icon for Chinese basketball players. He’s having one of the best seasons of his NBA career since he first arrived on the big stage with the Linsanity craze and most importantly, he’s the type of good guy that can handle all the scrutiny and social media criticism he undoubtedly gets for all these hairstyles.

But my goodness if his Sonic the Hedgehog haircut isn’t one of the most gloriously incomprehensible things I’ve ever seen in my life.

Seriously, Dragon Ball Z Lin has a perfectly spiked mohawk of hair that Vegeta himself would be jealous of. I can’t even begin to speculate the amount of product that goes into that hairdo, but it probably helps Lin on the court. What defender wants to try blocking his shot and wind up impaling himself on one of those hairy, greasy spikes?

It gives him an edge (literally). It’s brought new life to a guy who was wasting away on a terrible Lakers team last year. It came out of nowhere, but I’m all in on the porcupine ‘do.

But wait, there’s more! For God only knows what reason, Lin decides what hairstyle he’s going with on a game-to-game basis based on Spencer Hawesrecommendation, which has given birth to whatever this slicked back, half-ponytail concoction is:

Lin is the most important bench piece on Charlotte’s roster, he’s one of the best bargain contracts in the NBA and he has been one of the most underrated offseason additions in the league. But taking hairstyle advice from a guy who used to rock a mullet probably isn’t the best idea, J-Lin.

More hoops habit: Every NBA Team's Best Bargain Contract

Between the extensive variety in his hairstyles and the unbelievable lengths each one goes to in order to make a statement, Jeremy Lin easily wins the category of outrageously entertaining hair.
