With the NFL regular season complete, we have the first Sunday of the 2015-16 NBA season with a full slate of games.  Of the nine total games being played, two of them are not in Hoops Habit‘s coverage or the larger DraftKings contests.

The two games not featured are New Orleans Pelicans (11-24) traveling to the Los Angeles Clippers (24-13) and the Dallas Mavericks (21-16) visiting the Minnesota Timberwolves (12-25). However, there are seven games to focus on.

One game that needs to be highlighted is the Oklahoma City Thunder (26-11) traveling to play the Portland Trail Blazers (15-24). The two teams are combining for 209.1 points per game. With the offensive firepower expected, there should be some big games from Russell Westbrook, Kevin Durant, Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum.

The second game that should be given serious consideration is a meeting between the Indiana Pacers (21-15) and the Houston Rockets (18-19). The teams are combining for 205.8 points per game. The Rockets also give up 105.7 points per game, which is 26th in the league. It should be a second high-scoring, close contest.

Sunday’s slate appears to be a good one. Here are the best picks for finding success in DraftKings.
