The 2015 calendar year is winding down, but the 2015-16 NBA calendar is just starting to heat up. With the end of a calendar year and a two-month sample size to work with, this is as good a time as any to reflect on what we’ve seen recently and imagine what it might mean for the remainder of the NBA season.

Early on, we know that the Golden State Warriors and San Antonio Spurs are in a league of their own, but what about the suddenly improved Eastern Conference? Are the Cleveland Cavaliers still the undisputed favorite out East? Have we neglected the Oklahoma City Thunder? And which teams have revealed themselves to be pretenders already?

There are a lot of questions to answer, and not of all these riddles can be solved by a two-month sample size. But now that we have more concrete numbers to work with, we’re getting a good look at each team’s strengths and weaknesses.

Bearing all that in mind and in the spirit of New Year’s Eve, here’s a look at what every team’s New Year’s resolution should be.
