The Minnesota Timberwolves are loaded along the perimeter. Ricky Rubio and Andrew Wiggins are locked in as the starting backcourt, Andre Miller and Tayshaun Prince are being utilized for their veteran mentorship, Zach LaVine is explosive with upside, and Kevin Martin is still a dangerous scorer.
If you were under the impression that the NBA community has forgotten about Shabazz Muhammad, you thought wrong.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports, multiple teams have expressed interest in trading for Muhammad.

Minnesota either has long-term plans for the 23-year-old or hasn’t received an appealing enough offer to take action.
Muhammad has made waves as a scorer during his NBA career. He’s never been given a consistent role within the rotation—admittedly, injuries have played a factor—but it’s become abundantly clear that the former UCLA Bruins star can score.
Next: Which rookies need to receive more playing time?
That upside is likely to be explored, whether by Minnesota in the coming seasons or another team via trade. He’s a force in the paint who attacks the offensive glass and finishes with power around the basket.
Muhammad has value as both an immediate scoring option and a long-term project. It’s all a matter of his receiving the opportunity to prove himself.
