Hey there. Welcome to Ti’s Four-Point Play, my weekly column coming via HoopsHabit. If you missed it, last week I took a look at the 6-76 Philadelphia 76ers and some other fun math stuff in the Association.

I’ll be here every single Sunday morning with four interesting NBA storylines, all tied together through some central thread. Considering just about everybody was shocked at a certain game last night, I’ve decided to cover the biggest surprises in the NBA this season.

We’ll start in the Bay Area, to check up on one of the biggest winning streaks in NBA history, and the best start to a season any team had ever managed. We all expected the Warriors to be great, but nobody expected them to be quite this dominant.

From there we’ll stop in Milwaukee. Even more surprising than the massive winning streak the Warriors went on has to be the team that finally beat them after all these months.

Then we’ll wind up back in California, to check out a disappointing bench unit headed up by a very disappointing veteran who was tasked with leading it.

Finally, we’ll end this week in Utah. There’s a player there putting up absolutely unbelievable numbers, and now that (sadly) Rudy Gobert is out for a while, he may have the room to really prove himself.

Let’s get started, and check on the defending champion Golden State Warriors.
