The Detroit Pistons are 14-11 through their first quarter of the season. They have been playing with a couple of key injuries and a tough schedule. Their start to the season has them on a good pace to make the Eastern Conference playoffs once they can get back to full strength.

This review will be broken down by grading each position:  point guards, shooting guards, small forwards, power forwards and centers. Within each position grade will be a brief overview of how each player has played this season.

The players and positions will be judged based on their statistics, split statistics and some analytical statistics. Each player will also be reviewed based on the “eye test”, or in other words how they play on the court regardless of what statistics say. Other factors, such as lineup changes and coaching will also be factors.

The front office will also be graded. They will be graded based on their marketing campaigns, promotions, promotional videos and improvement of the roster, brand recognition and ticket sales.
